The vault mark

Two nested strokes descending to a single point: an enclosure holding an enclosure. It is a V for Veldris, a vault in section, and a rune of protection, drawn with nothing but straight lines, because nothing is hidden in a straight line.

Minimum size	16 px digital · 6 mm print. Below 20 px, drop the inner stroke.
Clearspace	½ mark width on all sides.
Color	One color only: ink, paper, or aurora. Never gradients, never outlines-plus-fills, never rotated.

Wordmark & lockups

Veldris

Primary lockup, mark at cap height, gap of ⅓ mark width. Wordmark set in Newsreader 500; never tracked out, never all-caps.

Veldris Mimir

Product lockup, product name in IBM Plex Mono uppercase, divided by a hairline. The master brand always leads.

§ 3 · Product marks

The five glyphs

Each product carries one rune: a single idea in straight strokes (the well is the one permitted circle). Glyphs carry their product accent; in dense UI chrome they may fall back to ink, with the accent kept for active and selected states.

§ 4 · Misuse

Never

✓ Do

Use one flat color from the approved three.

Keep clearspace of half the mark's width.

Pair the mark with Newsreader wordmark only.

✗ Don't

Apply gradients, shadows, glows or 3D effects to the mark.

Rotate it, round the caps, close it into a triangle, or add a container shape.

Set the wordmark in the UI or mono face, or in all-caps.

§ 5 · Downloads

Logo files

SVG is the master format (scales to any size); PNG is rendered at 1024 px for tools that can't take vectors. Ink for paper surfaces, paper and aurora for ink surfaces.

Glyph SVGs use currentColor: they inherit whatever color the surrounding text has, so one file serves every accent and both themes. The ink-mark SVG does the same.
